Your master thesis should be an independently performed research project supervised by an expert in the relevant field. It is possible to perform your Master project in any of the below listed research groups involved in the MAMBE curriculum: Biology, University of Kiel Botanical Institute Ecophysiology of Plants (Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Bilger) As a master’s student in molecular biology you will spend your first year doing coursework (60 ECTS) and your second year working in the lab, and on writing your master’s thesis (60 ECTS). Some courses are mandatory, the rest can be chosen to match your academic interests.
